Cost of Grave Spaces (Standard Size):
$1,000 Town Resident
$1,200 Non-Resident

Cost of Grave Spaces (Half Size):
$500 Town Resident
$600 Non-Resident

Title Transfer Fee: $50

Stone Permit Fee: $75
Stone Re-Mark Fee: $25

Basic Cost:
$700 Standard Grave (over 3ft)
$400 Non-Standard Grave (up to 3ft)

Saturday Interment:
$900 Standard Grave (over 3ft)
$600 Non-Standard Grave (up to 3ft)

Double-Depth Interment:
Additional $400 added to basic or Saturday interment cost (top burial will be at regular rate)

Disinterment:
$1,400 Standard Grave (over 3ft)
$900 Non-Standard Grave (up to 3ft) *If there is no record pertaining to the location (top center, lower-left, etc.) of the burial and a determination cannot be made from an on-site inspection of the lot, the $1,400 rate will apply.*
  
Payments:
All payments for opening and closing graves and grave purchases for immediate use will be made prior to the grave space being opened. Payment shall be by cash, credit card, cashier or certified check only.

Purchasing Grave Spaces:
Appointments can be made to purchase grave spaces by contacting the Town Clerk's Office at (540) 829-8240.

Burial Records:
These are retained in the Town Clerk's Office.
